Comparing internet service providers in my area is pretty easy when I look online. First I looked for the better known national providers, AT&T and Verizon, to see which of their plans were available to me.  Then I compared those to my local cable company, satellite plans, and local companies.  Speed and dependability were the most important thing to me, so I then compared those for cost and extra services added in such as modems, security, backup, and cash back offers.  This is really the best way to tell what is the best service for your needs.
