The Quality of Internet Service Providers in My Area

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Comparing internet service providers in my area is pretty easy when I look online. First I looked for the better known national providers, AT&T and Verizon, to see which of their plans were available to me.  Then I compared those to my local cable company, satellite plans, and local companies.  Speed and dependability were the most important thing to me, so I then compared those for cost and extra services added in such as modems, security, backup, and cash back offers.  This is really the best way to tell what is the best service for your needs. Don’t forget that most online offers are available for a limited time.

Comparing the Internet Service Providers in My Area

Figuring out which of the internet service providers in my area is the best for me was not too difficult.  First I looked up the major nationally known providers to see if my area was included and what plans were offered.   I then compared them to local cable companies, and other internet providers.  I was able to compare the plans, and make the choice that was right for me.  Right now, there are a lot of great deals online for internet companies, and they are all competing with each other, offering great savings, cash back, free modems, wireless, and other incentives.

How Do I Find Internet Service Providers In My Area?

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

I am convinced that it’s time to ditch the old dialup system I’ve been using at home in favor of high speed internet.  So how do I go about finding internet service providers in my area?  I want to get the best deal possible, and I want to make sure I select the right amount of speed.  While I am tired of the snail pace of dialup, I also don’t necessarily need some of those expensive, lightning fast systems for what I wish to do at home.  And what’s the difference between cable, DSL, satellite, and fiber optics, anyway?  How do I determine which providers service my area?  Rest assured, all of the answers to my questions are found online.  There’s a great website that seem to understand what I am trying to accomplish and understand, and they provide all of the latest packages and online deals available.  It will be so nice to not have to go to the library when I want to surf the web.
